Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents were Russian as well as a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently German Russian English. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. She devised a choreography that earned her the privilege of appearing on German television as an Russian snowmaiden. Then, she became another Indian dancer. She graduated from high school in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. She studied improvisation and comedy in the Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. She was raised within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. The family moved together with their father to New York's East Meadow York, when she was 13 years old. She is a part of FX's The Americans alongside Matthew Rhys. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova is her most famous role. She played a recurring character in the Fox series The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
